Marc Sabatella

Marc Sabatella

My name is Marc Sabatella, and I am a pianist, composer, and educator who has lived in Colorado since 1988. Prior to moving to Pueblo in 2024, I performed regularly as a jazz pianist in the Denver area and taught at the University of Denver, Regis University, and elsewhere. I am the author of "A Jazz Improvisation Primer", which was one of the first online music education resources at the dawn of the World Wide Web. For the past decade, I have been known worldwide as one of the developers and chief proponents of the free and open source music notation app MuseScore Studio.
